Questions, answered

Everything players, academies, scouts and fans ask most. Still stuck? Talk to us.

Is DCS Sports free?

Yes — following any live match and viewing the public scorecard is completely free, no login needed. Athletes, academies, leagues and scouts have their own plans; see Pricing.

How do I claim my player profile?

On any live scorecard, tap your name. You'll be asked for an email to claim a verified DCS profile, and your match stats attach to your athlete passport. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian claims for you.

Are minors protected?

Yes, by design. Players under 18 are never surfaced in discovery or search without parent/guardian consent, and a minor's visibility requires co-consent. Protection is built into the platform, not bolted on.

What does “verified” actually mean?

Today it means a record shows who entered or confirmed it and when — a human, not an algorithm, stands behind it, and AI outputs stay estimate-labelled until confirmed. It does not yet mean a cryptographic signature: signing is not built, so no record on DCS is signed and nothing can be independently signature-checked. When that ships, this answer will change and this page will say so.

Which sports do you support?

Cricket first, and the platform is built sport-agnostic — football and other sports follow. The verified pathway works the same way for any sport.

Does AI decide selections?

No. Every AI output — selection probability, talent index, rankings — is clearly labelled an estimate with its confidence and sample size. AI informs the humans who decide; it never decides for them.

What is the smart-camera / DRS feature?

A smart camera can detect events (fours, sixes, catches, wickets) and, at higher tiers, ball-tracking and edge detection. Every camera output is an estimate a human official confirms before it becomes an official record.

Which countries can use DCS?

Anywhere. The pathway uses tiers every cricket nation maps to (academy → domestic → franchise leagues like the IPL → national team → international), so players worldwide see their own path.

Who owns my data?

You do. The athlete owns their data, controls visibility per field, and grants time-boxed, scope-limited access to scouts or academies — every access is logged.

How much does it cost?

Fan scorecards are free. Paid tiers for athletes, academies, leagues and scouts are on the Pricing page. Any payment features stay off until formally launched.
